Even without this video, I think every one of you already know that the Dash Series was Inafune's favorite game series creation and that Dash 3 has been a game he has been wanting to make for the last decade. As I had mentioned in the "Why you don't blame the Developers" article, I have touched on how as a Producer, Inafune has in the past resorted to "underhanded" means to get what he feels needed to get a game out. So with the insanity that had bombarded Capcom last week, and the scrambling of fan bids to save the game, I can't help feeling that all of this was Inafune's intention all along.

Art By CAPコブン A lot of grass root efforts have risen in the light of the Dash 3's Cancellation to try to get it back. This past week, you may will have already noticed the banner I stuck on the top of the page concerning one of them, the 100,000 Strong to Bring Back MegaMan Legends 3 on Facebook, which at the time of this writing is only 33% towards it's goal. But besides this group, there a few other IMPORTANT OUTLETS that are good avenues for focusing your fight on. To all those concerned and involved, I wish to tell a short story of a game that almost didn't happen. This game was to be a sequel to a brand new original IP that you had at the time just published. Although there was definitely a positive public response, you felt that it was tepid, and that far easier money could be made elsewhere with other games. As such, the managers and executives of your company had no interest in publishing a sequel........ And this just in, Capcom's mess of a PR machine is now blaming the fans for Dash 3's cancelation, First being a message about the fans "knowing too much" which made the game too difficult to continue,....followed by a statement that fan involvement was "not enough. " What do you want?! You can't have your cake and eat it too!! You require us to participate to get the game made, but we can not participate if we don't know enough. But knowing too much means we don't get the game made?! Honestly, with this set up, we CAN'T WIN.
In my initial response upon the announcement of Dash 3's cancellation on my site, I stated that fury should most properly be directed towards Capcom's Financial Board of Directors (BOD), and not the developers. In response, #20 laid a short essay where he insist that everyone (though not in equal parts) are to blame, and anger should be directed to all for the cancellation. While his statement is most certainly a reaffirmation of "self-determinism", I still stand firm on my opinion. But rather than have my explanation of this hide in the comments section, I'm presenting it here. I thought it was going to be a happy day today,...but that sure came crashing down horribly didn't it? Thought I doubt any of you who would visit my site would of missed this sad news, I'll re-literate that Rockman Dash 3 was announced officially CANCELED today. The Rocket to rescue Rock has gone from 29% complete to 0%, with no hope of progress in sight. And to tell you the truth, I would not have ever thought that this news would affect me the way it does at the moment. And welcome to the new host. How does it look? While this place still needs a few things done, I think this place cleaned up a bit better than the Yola server and software. Some features were lost in the change from Yola to Weebly, but likewise some new ones are now available as well. The immediate benefits of Weebly allows embedding JavaScript (and thus JavaScript based video players), a light-box image viewer, "unlimited" storage space for images, as well as freedom to control where my article breaks are.
After watching Screwattacks's Jared Never Used An SNES Game Genie special, (which I recommend you watch if you haven't yet. It's okay, I'll still be here when you are done) I had the whim wanting to seeing a full run of Rockman X to see how fast it would take to beat the game with the following Game Genie hacks:
-Super Jump -One Shot Instant Kill -Faster Charge |
