D-Arts Rockman X Ver. Iwamoto are currently making their way to the hand to Japan's consumer public. Naturally, photos of it are making their way to Futaba's possible figure board, highlighting it's various details, features and of course poses. I had pointed MMN over to it, thinking said images on the thread would be saved and displayed. Unfortunately, this did not occur and now said thread has expired.... So I have went ahead with this post, with images from the mentioned now deleted D-Arts X thread. Each and every single photo was posted by an anonymous contributors of Futaba Channel, so much thanks for their efforts, whoever they might be. Follow the "Read more" to see the images.

The world continues to spin despite the holiday season. Unfortunately this isn't something I quite acknowledge or respect enough. I should be back on track this week with updates and such, but in the meantime, enjoy this "Super Secret Sigma Boss Battle" in SF4.
An excerpt from VG3 Project; The classic Miyazaki film Laputa: Castle in the Sky, where the villains as well as the ancient sky civilization has been completely replaced by Airman and his forces. And to accompany this epic madness, a remix of Airman's BGM from MMN's very own Mainfinger.
Mazinger-Z and it's Hover Pilder docking configuration is a fairly popular trope of super robots. In A UFO Conspiracy, I covered how our very own Dr. Wily pays homage to the Pilder docking system with his very own Wily UFO. But it doesn't stop there, as there are other machines in Rockman that also follows the legacy of Mazinger. So, Pilder-On! Let's see what we have; It's already 20XX, and we are still far off from any real world robot equivalent to Rockman. But we do have PETMAN. Boston Dynamic, PETMAN's developer, has released a video of this surprisingly human locomotion robotic military project showing casing it's variety of movement. Although this combination of information may make you think humanoid combat robot, PETMAN is actually a chemical suit testing robot. It's human range of movement is to allow it to test for weak and stress points in anti-chemcial combat gear, a task far too dangerous for any human. "Read more" for the video of this dynamic robot in action. Image by: Guy Rachmuth Chi-Sang Poon Et al. at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have reported to have designed a silicon chip capabilile of simulating a brain synapse between two neurons. This technology's key function is the emulation of neuro plascitity, the unique method in which synapses "learn and "adapt" to new information. The goal is to model and thus gain a greater understanding of how the human brain works. While the direct products off this chip is to help advance cognitive science and human/computer interfacing technology, it's potential applications to Artificial Intelligence can not be overlooked. But keep in mind, it's still a far cry from the billions of synapses that are maintained in a regular human brain. New plan! Given that there's a glut of robot related new articles as of late I want to share, going to just drop them off as we go instead of wait for the large periodic dump. So without further adeu.... If you have played Rockman 3, (and how could you have not if you ended up at this site?) you will be well familar with Giant Snakey, a forest based battle camp robot. They were the foundation of Snakeman's Stage and even served as mini bosses. But techno-fantasy aside, no one would go and build a REAL giant robotic snake, would they? Something different from the usual Nico Nico humor. This is a re-imaging for Rockman X4's Opening cinematics by コアラのマーチ, making use of various clips, some video and graphic editing and a different music bed. And if you are inquiring about the music, per the video's title, it's Warriors, sung by Ikusawa Yuichi and was originally used as an opening theme for the Yugioh Anime. Things have been busy, but hopefully I'll have something good up soon.
I-23 gives us this twist on a McDonalds Commercial in Japan Staring Timeman. The title's Fuji Fabric is the musical group who did this little jingle.
The Death Egg and the Egg Carrier Going through threads that relate to the upcoming Deathbattle! match up against Dr. Robotnik and Dr. Wily, one thing I keep seeing from oblivious Sonic Fans is the proclamation that Robotnik would win because he has the Giga-Scaled Mechanical Doomsday weapons market cornered. Between Robotnik's Death Egg and the Egg Carrier, they claim Dr. Wily would simply be overwhelmed by their scale and firepower, not having anything comprable to go against them. What these avid Sonic series fans don't know is that Wily's Giga-Scaled Mechanical Doomsday weapons actually number many and do include an airship and a Death Star clone. In fact, they are so common placed in Rockman, that many of these magnificent machines actually have gone without even being named. Let's see what kind of list we can gather of Wily's Giga Destroyer Mechas. |
