It's already 20XX, and we are still far off from any real world robot equivalent to Rockman. But we do have PETMAN. Boston Dynamic, PETMAN's developer, has released a video of this surprisingly human locomotion robotic military project showing casing it's variety of movement. Although this combination of information may make you think humanoid combat robot, PETMAN is actually a chemical suit testing robot. It's human range of movement is to allow it to test for weak and stress points in anti-chemcial combat gear, a task far too dangerous for any human.
