Before the combat armament, before a nefarious scientist's bid world domination, and before the introduction of the Industrial Robots, there were the Household Helper Robots. Named Rock and Roll, these two little robots were modeled after human children of the approximate age of 10 years to handle and assist in domestic tasks. Rockman's story narrative rests it's center on this fact. But if the goal was to accomplish household chores and duties, why would anyone build mechanical children?

A tiny follow-up for A Place for That Music. For those who were curious of what Mega Man Legends had in it's place for it's lyrical opening song that never opened for the series, Joseph again graciously have your bases covered. Though anyone listening to this will find it hard to categorize this as "Pop Music",...
"Let's mix them all up to make a new category, yes, make an animation into a game. Let's enter the world of animation and run wild! Action Adventure? Yes! that kind of game! Lets have dubbed in actors and actresses talk a lot! And the music. Yes, the style of an old anime song. Let's do it all-out." ~Inafune Keiji Excerpt From the Rockman DASH Original Soundtrack From these words, it's easy to imagine the level of excitement that was involved with the development of Rockman DASH in the late 90's. But those words does beg the question: If they were going for an anime feel with the music, what's happened with Rockman DASH's opening theme song?
laich777's art skills are quite remarkable, if I do say so myself~
An Obentoh. Photo by by miwappeA おべんとう (Obentoh) As it reads, it's the phonemes for お弁当, a noun that Japanese use to refer to 'Boxed Lunch '. As the noun, it can refer to the container or to the meal that said box contains. But to the world of Japanese internet memes, this word has a third meaning: "The highly exploitable change of text joke originating from Rockman X 6". Since it is the ever romantically driven holiday of Valentine's Day, it is time for some exposition for a particularly love slanted Rockman meme. Some Minecrafters demonstrate their fandom for Rockman by recreating a sprite. ハク (Haku) kicks it up by about 20 notches by recreating the entirety of Bombman's stage, complete with background elements, a rail platform to view the whole thing, a Rockman Character skin, and even a "ボンバーマン" boss at the end. As basic Minecraft's visuals are, the first person view does bring a new appreciation of the scale of the world Rockman is in.
Anyone remember Rockman's short stint as a danmaku boss? Well the BGM from that is actually by 名波, and the masterful full melody can be heard here.
Normally I just pass the buck to the Mega Man Network in reporting this kind of stuff, but I did originally talked about this back in October for 100,000 Strong's DASH awareness campaign at NYCC, so a follow up seemed fitting. Circle 千代田屋 has updated their post on Material SNS FG for their Rockman Dash based Winter 2012 Wonderfest offering. Now you can see photos of the Rock Volnut garage kit and how it may look after some tender love and care in the building and painting department. As like with before, I've reproduced these images for non Material SNS FG members. You can see them if you follow this article's break: Feeling you need a Cutman Stage BGM fix? K.S. has fixed up this collection of every Capcom official Cutman BGM ever produced.
