Capcom PR in a Horrible Mess

And this just in, Capcom's mess of a PR machine is now blaming the fans for Dash 3's cancelation, First being a message about the fans "knowing too much"  which made the game too difficult to continue,....followed by a statement that fan involvement was "not enough. " What do you want?! You can't have your cake and eat it too!! You require us to participate to get the game made, but we can not participate if we don't know enough.  But knowing too much means we don't get the game made?!  Honestly, with this set up, we CAN'T WIN.

I'm thinking that the word "disaster" is starting to sound more and more appropriate. Have you seen this one?

Basically, it looks like we needed to do all the work, in the dark, with a Capcom representative sometimes shining a flashlight on a corner of the project. That should have been enough for us to push enough concepts and ideas to create an entire game from. It's ridiculous.

Some of the latest ones from @CapcomEuro:

"never said it was fans fault, just shame not more interest in Dev room"

"that’s how some have interpreted it. But really we'd never ever blame fans"

"I was expressing dissapointment with a Capcom marketing tool rather than blaming fans"

"I didn't. I said it was "a shame more fans didn't want to get more involved" when discussing our Dev rooms = Blaming Capcom"

"I said "it's a shame the fans didn't want to get more involved" when talking about Dev rooms. Thats Capcoms fault"

In other words, "come on guys, I would never say it's the FANS' fault! I'd lose my job if I did that!" Poor guy, he knows he stepped in it. Although I think what he was actually trying to say initially was that Capcom didn't feel that there was enough of a fan market to justify its continuance, which I guess would actually be blaming either non-participating fans (which is still blaming the fans, mind you), or just that there aren't enough fans in general. Not that I think they had any accurate gauge to judge this.
