Remember back in May I talked about Rockman's Day, a holiday for no other reason than an attempt to be clever by copying a phonetic trick that was used for Miku's Giving Day? Well guess what? We have another one of those on this very date! Want to take a guess what it is? I'll give you two hints: 1)That picture on the side 2)It's not quite as clever as Rockman's Day for a number trick. I'll reveal the answer after the break.
September 9th is "Day of Metal"! The Metalman Day!
Because Metalman's serial number is DWN009, the twin nines of September 9th resulted in this day from Metalman fans in Japan. But Googling メタルマンの日 (Metalman's Day) or メタルの日 (Day of Metal) will hardly give you any results. Tributes for this day usually end up on art sharing sites, under a more general Metalman tag. While the art is simply spectacular, they sure were not all too creative with them titles huh? Unfortunately it's probably too late for most of you reading this article to celebrate Day of Metal yourself since I'm posting this so late~ If it's any consolation, The next Holiday for nothing but a trick with numbers is September 19th. I won't spoil the fun of figuring out what that day is for you, but I'll hint you to apply the same number code trick as Rockman's Day for that date.
