Continue that Stanford Education with Machine Learning!

Evidently, the free over the web Introduction to Artificial Intelligence Class offered by Stanford University was not enough. So this Winter, the University has decided to offer another free over the web course in Machine Learning! As with before, it is a 10 week course with graded class work, homework assignements and of course exams. And as before, all the materials for the course are offered free on the web! Definitely a class to take to up your understanding of the robot mind. You can get more information and sign up at their site. Hurry, since class officially starts on the 23rd!:

Ashamed to say I dropped the last course after 2 weeks. First week I forgot when it had started and fell behind, second week I realized my mistake and played catch-up, but felt overwhelmed with trying to cram it all into one weekend (and sadly, I was more than a little bored). Some student I am.

Anybody else going for these?

Well if you can't cut the mustard, there is still much you can learn from watching the leactures to get a understanding the general concepts for the course. Sure you can't solve Probability Equations by the end of it, but at least you know that's what's being used when an AI thinks. And it no dent against your academic record to just "sit in".
